Περιγραφή :

Solid oxide fuel cells directly fed with natural gas (NG) need steam or dry reforming for the conversion of feeding fuel to hydrogen at the anode side. The prevention of NG contained carbon and sulfur from depositing and poisoning the SOFC anode side is of vital importance. The catalytic activity of certain elements is therefore utilized. Sonochemistry is used for nanoparticles preparation of Au, Cu and Ag and nanooxides of Mo, Re and W. State of the art anode powders are decorated with these nanoformation under high energy ultrasound action.
