Περιγραφή :

In this study, Raman microscopy was employed for the study of a human osteoarthritic femoral head section. Chemical mapping revealed the appearance of bone and calcified cartilage in osteoarthitic areas, where unmineralized cartilage was identified in the healthy rims.
